Bits & Bops gameplay video and livestream policy

 

You are free to stream and make video content (eg. reviews, Let’s Plays, etc.) from your own gameplay footage of Bits & Bops; on platforms such as YouTube, Twitch, Instagram and TikTok; and to monetise your streams and videos. Video uploads and VODs must credit Bits & Bops in the title or video description, and livestreams must include a game credit somewhere that viewers can find easily.

 

If your gameplay video gets demonetised or copyright struck for using Bits & Bops music, please email us at support@tempolabgames.com.

Bits & Bops generative AI policy

Bits & Bops contains no generative AI, and AI was not used in any part of its development process. This includes all art, code, writing and marketing materials. 

 

Use of Bits & Bops in AI content

We do not permit the use of any data from Bits & Bops (including but not limited to music, sound, art, text and code) to train any generative AI model. Furthermore, we do not consent to the use of AI to generate any content (including but not limited to AI music, art, and videos) related to Bits & Bops.

Bits & Bops soundtrack usage policy

Custom charts/maps in other rhythm games

You can freely use our original Bits & Bops music for custom levels (charts, beatmaps, etc.) in other rhythm games that allow customs, eg. in Rhythm Doctor, Rift of the Necrodancer, osu!, etc. You must appropriately title and attribute any songs you use with the game title (“Bits & Bops”) and the music artist (either “Zorsy” or “Em aka Lich”, depending on which tracks are used).

 

Any video uploads or livestreams of custom gameplay featuring Bits & Bops music must credit Bits & Bops in the title or video description, and livestreams must include a game credit (“Bits & Bops”) somewhere that viewers can find easily.

Non-commercial hobbyist games

You can use Bits & Bops music in hobbyist games that are not sold commercially. Please include Bits & Bops and the song title/s in your game’s credits. You are not allowed to use Bits & Bops music in anything monetised, eg. a game you are selling on itch.io, Steam, or anywhere else.

Video and livestream background music

You can use Bits & Bops music in the background of your videos and streams on platforms such as YouTube and Twitch. Video uploads and VODs must include Bits & Bops and the song title/s in your video description, preferably with a link to Tempo Lab’s channel/profile on the same video platform if we have one. Livestreams must include a game credit (“Bits & Bops”) somewhere that viewers can find easily.

Song covers and remixes

You can perform, record and livestream or upload videos or VODs of your own covers or remixes of Bits & Bops songs, on platforms such as YouTube, Twitch, Instagram and TikTok. All adaptations must be human-made; AI covers/remixes are not permitted. Video uploads and VODs must include Bits & Bops and the song title/s in your video description, preferably with a link to Tempo Lab’s channel/profile on the same video platform if we have one. Livestreams must include a game credit somewhere that viewers can find easily.

Generative AI

You are not permitted to create AI adaptations, covers, remixes or any other AI generated content with the Bits & Bops soundtrack.
